<p><strong>The five basic rules of the Leptin Diet</strong></p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t eat after dinner</strong><br />
Say no to the habit of eating after dinner. Also never go for sleep just after full stomach. Have a liitle walk or something. Otherwise it will deposit the fat and you will gain weight.</p>
<p><strong>Eat 3 meals per day</strong><br />
Avoid a 5-6 time meal a day and take 3 meals per day with a difference of 5-6 hours between each. It gives time to our body to burn extra fat in body.</p>
<p><strong>Do not eat heavy meals</strong><br />
Regular large meals leads to leptin and insulin resistance.</p>
<p><strong>Have a high-protein breakfast</strong><br />
If you take high-protein breakfast then you will feel full throughout the day and this helps in losing weight. Some high-protein sources are peanut better, eggs.</p>
<p><strong>Low carbohydrates consumption</strong><br />
Try to reduce starchy carbs in your daily diet. It helps a lot. Easy way to check if you are taking high carbs or not is- check your morning time weight then check bedtime weight and if the difference between the two is higher then 2 pounds then it means that you consumed higher carbs.</p>
<p>The New England Journal of Medicine issued a report in 1999 as a result of a recombinant human leptin in a 9-year-old girl</p>
<ul>
<li> She began the trial weighing 208 pounds (94.4 kg), of which 123 lbs (55.9 kg) was fat</li>
<li> She was given daily injections of recombinant leptin for one year.</li>
<li> At the end of that time,</li>
<li> She had lost 36 lbs (16.4 kg), most of it fat.</li>
<li> Her appetite and thus food intake had decreased.</li>
