Accomplix – a weight loss supplement

The Accomplix manufacturers would like us believe their product contains “a mechanism of action that is different from any other weight loss supplement you’ve taken.” Experts say it contains common ingredients, to which we shall pay due attention in order to determine whether this product suits you better than others.

Ingredients:
Chromium Dinicotinate Glycinate 175 mcg
Vitamin B-6 4mg
Vitamin B-12 375 mcg
Vitamin C 50 mg
Hoodia Gordonii

Citrus tree extract
Cinnamon Bark
L-Tyrosine
Magnolia Bark Extract
Guarana Extract (50% caffeine)
Green Tea

The most common ingredients have been analyzed too many times, so we’ll pay particular attention to those less common:

Hoodia - one of the most hyped weight loss ingredients in years. Pity it can’t prove its effectiveness.

Citrus tree extract - contains Synephrine. Studies on Synephrine vary in results. While some claim it is good supplement to weight loss processes, others claim it could be dangerous. However, a study conducted in 2004 shows that dose of Synephrine necessary to promote fat loss in humans is very high and won’t have harmful effects.

Tyrosine - a building block for neurotransmitters (chemicals used to relay, amplify and modulate signals between a neuron and another cell). It is beneficial in weight loss if the dosage is equal to 500 to 1500 mg daily. The precise dose of Tyrosine isn’t in Accomplix is unknown.

Keeping in mind the usual truths – time-consuming diets and exercises, as necessary part of any serious weight loss intention, you should think carefully which supplement to choose. There are many unknowns in the case of Accomplix, which, of course, doesn’t mean it wouldn’t suit you better than other similar products. The key is to analyze the ingredients properly and take decision.
