Accelis – yet another revolutionary stimulant-free weight-loss supplement

New fat burner on the market, Accelis claims to be “revolutionary stimulant-free weight-loss supplements that can help you lose an average of 10.65 pounds fast.” As usual with commercials, we should read behind the lines. We’ll try to solve the puzzle by analyzing the product objectively.

Ingredients: Lagerstroemia speciosa extract (Banaba), Caffeine free teas, Chamomile extract, Passionflower extract, Soy phospholipids.

- Lagerstroemia speciosa extract (Banaba): Banaba is used as a natural cure for diabetes in the Philippines. Several studies have shown it has ability to lower blood glucose levels. According to various studies, Banaba also may include valoneaic acid dilactone - a potent alpha-amylase inhibitor. (Amylase is the enzyme that breaks carbohydrates into glucose). It also suppresses weight gain (tested on animals), but there’s no proof it works on non-diabetic animals or humans.
- Caffeine free teas –green tea and other EGCG-rich teas are always good choice for fat burners.
- Chamomile extract – well known anti-inflammatory agent with many benefits to both skin and bowels.
- Soy phospholipids - preliminary evidence shows that soy isoflavones helps reduction of flashes related to menopause. Others claim it protects the body against breast cancer, but the latter is much disputed.

Though it is good to see a product without caffeine, we shouldn’t forget that caffeine is a good supplement combined with green tea in fat burning processes. When choosing supplement, pay particular attention to your body’s needs and limits.

However, some of the listed Accelis’ ingredients may be very effective if taken properly, but the recommended dose is disputable.

You should keep in mind that correct diet and proper exercises are always prerequisites, so combining the latter with Accelis may promote some enhanced results, in case you’re not immune to its ingredients (as some of us certainly are).
